Native Nonprofit Day 2025: Support Indigenous-Led Giving
Join Us in Celebrating Native Nonprofit Day on May 16, 2025
Native Nonprofit Day is a national giving initiative dedicated to increasing support for Native-led organizations. This campaign highlights the importance of uplifting Indigenous communities through direct contributions and awareness, ensuring Native-led nonprofits receive the resources they need.
Why Native Nonprofit Day Matters
Despite their vital contributions, Native-led organizations receive less than 1% of total foundation funding. This day serves as a call to action for individuals, donors, and foundations to give directly to Indigenous initiatives that protect land, language, and traditions while addressing modern challenges.
Muwekma Ohlone Preservation Foundation's Commitment
As a Native-led nonprofit, the Muwekma Ohlone Preservation Foundation is committed to preserving the Tribe’s heritage, advancing cultural revitalization, and strengthening Tribal sovereignty. Through land stewardship, education, and outreach, MOPF raises funds to sustain cultural traditions and empower the Muwekma Ohlone community.
